Meet the Team

Gary and Sarah

Heading up the business (and the family), Gary and Sarah are the heart of Impact Catering. Gary is responsible for logistics and the day-to-day management of the business, ensuring everything runs smoothly and all of our delicious food reaches our clients on time! Meanwhile, Sarah is the creative force behind Impact Catering and is responsible for developing new menus, sourcing new ingredients and adding that touch of magic to all of our food!

Having joined the business back in 1997, ‘Head Chef’ Will is our eldest (and loudest) son and is in charge of managing our team of chefs. Overseeing everything which passes through our ovens or touches our stove, he ensures that all of our food is prepared to the very highest standard.

After Will, Sam is our longest serving member of staff, having been with us for three years – during which time he has become a sandwich-master as well as father to a beautiful baby boy…quite an achievement! Sam is most definitely the ‘fun guy’ in the team, with his jokes and pranks keeping us all in good spirits… most of the time!

‘Cake Queen’ Nina is our youngest daughter and heads up our desserts kitchen. Bringing her imagination and creative flair to the team, Nina makes sure all of our cakes and desserts taste amazing and look spectacular.

A long-term family friend, Rob came to us by default after plans to coach lacrosse in America were put on hold. But, their loss has been our gain! A skilled craftsman, Rob is a key member of the chef team, by day creating amazing buffet platters, by night restoring beautiful furniture!

Jude is our newest team member who at 17 really is the baby, as well as being Gary and Sarah’s nephew. Following his passion for food, he is enrolled on the hospitality and catering apprenticeship scheme and has already become an invaluable member of the team. As a keen Bolton supporter, Jude is a font of football knowledge (as well as being chief brew-maker!)

Hailing from a little town called Hope, ‘Canadian John’ is a former Mounty (so we’ve heard) and our trusty driver, navigating the highways of Manchester to ensure our food is always delivered with a smile and a “thank you ma’am.”
